July 1 marks the beginning of a new underwriting era as Tokio Marine assumes the role of underwriter for the motor and property classes in insure that policies. This applies to renewals and new business.
You will begin to receive July renewals including this change early next week.
New policies with an inception date on or after 1 July will also include the change of underwriter.
We will also provide you with a rates update with links to all of the exciting new changes to the wordings that we have negotiated with Tokio Marine.
Of particular note are the changes to the way that we treat portable items in the Farm Protection Policy.
Finally we have a policy that follows the farmer going about his or her business rather than leaving them worried about what items are covered at which location.
